St. Dennis

Check out this SlideShare Presentation:
My uncle (my mother's eldest brother) Tiyo Weling (Wenceslao) passed away last week at the age of 80. He had throat cancer. I wasn't able to pay my respects because of a very hectic week: 24-hour duties, school enrollment, OB and Pedia follow-ups. I just prayed for him and I am sure that people like him go straight to heaven. He loved his wife (who passed years earlier due to complications of diabetes) and his children dearly. He had lots of friends and worked tirelessly until his retirement. May you rest in peace, Tiyo Weling!
When a person we know dies, especially a relative, we cannot avoid thinking that we are the next to go. It's a fact that we are getting older every year and how fast time flies. Let us count how many Christmases, New Years, Holy Weeks, etc. we had been through and before we realize it, we are almost forty years old, or older. Try to subtract our age from the age our deceased loved ones left us and we'll know how short our remaining life on earth will be. So let us enjoy our lives and live each day as our last. Forget the material stuff, the fame and fortune this world can offer for these are not eternal. Loving God and the people around us is more important!

Greetings my friends! I just couldn't imagine myself posting in my very own blog. If it's not for Prof or Coach Bong De Ungria, I think what I would be doing at this point in time is downloading songs (or albums) from Pirate Bay (no more of the same 'bittorrent' that's why). I am not actually fond of downloading, I appreciate more scouring Music One and Odyssey and buying compact discs (CDs) of artists I like. The feel of flipping through hundreds of displayed CDs is like flipping through the pages of an adventure novel, and finding a hard-to-find CD is equivalent to reaching the climax (of the novel, of course). But downloading also has its positives: you don't spend that much, you can almost find any artist that you can think of, you are at your most comfortable clothing and space in your house, and you can manage to do other things like household chores while downloading. Btw, I have to start doing my assignment in MarkMan. Ciao!
